According to Loretta's hat and everyone's clothing, this is probably right after the Kansas State Fair in 1945, right after World War II ended. It shows Loretta, Jerry, Maye, Jackie, Loulu Maye and her colt of the month.

Indonesia is not the only place with Child Labor, as can be seen in this mid 1940's picture of Jerry and Jackie as they bring another load of sand from under the house. It seems they were the only ones who initally fit under the house that had to have space for new furnace ducts.
