This photograph I took of Milburn Stone "Doc Adams" of Gunsmoke fame, in the late '50, was done for a Christmas present for him to give to his mother. The copy he autographed for me is one of my prized posessions. His mother was a resident of Newton, KS, the town he grew up in.

Driving home just after dark on October 19, 2005, I could not believe the brightness of the Moon. Rushing in the house, I returned with the trusty Nikon digital with a 1,000mm lens and captured this picture. Autographed copies of this picture currently hang in university astrology departments. To really see this picture, click the thumbnail and then click the big picture. This will produce an even larger image.
